The exact Wimbledon 2010 schedule will not be released for a few more days but we have a pretty good idea of what the schedule will look like this year. The Wimbledon tennis tournament itself is scheduled to run from Monday, June 21st through Sunday, July 4th, 2010.

We’re still waiting on the individual order of play to be released, but we do know that the grounds will open at 10:30 AM each day. The start dates for each competition are scheduled as follows:

Wimbledon Opening Day Schedules

Men’s and Ladies’ Singles: Monday, June 21st

Men’s and Ladies’ Doubles: Tuesday, June 22nd

Mixed Doubles: Friday, June 25th

Boy’s and Girl’s Singles: Saturday, June 26th

Boy’s and Girl’s Doubles: Monday, June 28th

Gentlemen’s Wheelchair Doubles: Saturday, July 3rd

Wimbledon Finals Schedules

Men’s Singles

Quarter Finals: Wednesday, June 30th

Semi Finals: Friday, July 2nd

Final: Sunday, July 4th

Ladies’ Singles

Quarter Finals: Tuesday, June 29th

Semi Finals: Thursday, July 1st

Final: Saturday, July 3rd

Men’s Doubles

Semi Finals: Thursday, July 1st

Final: Saturday, July 3rd

Ladies’ Doubles

Semi Finals: Thursday, July 1st

Final: Sunday, July 4th

Mixed Doubles:

Final: Saturday, July 3rd or Sunday, July 4th

According to the official Wimbledon website, the tennis matches that are predicted to receive the most interest will be played on the premier courts. They also state that they’ll try to make sure the players who are predicted to go the farthest play on the courts with the most spectator seats.
